Sunriver Resort in central Oregon has something for everyone! There is so much to do in and around the resort! The fun is NEVER ending, making Sunriver Oregon an ideal location for vacation rentals!

  • Multiple Pools at Sunriver Resort: The South Pool is near the River Lodge (next to the Great Hall) and is quite large, with a separate water-slide area and a separate kiddie pool.  Family movies are shown on certain evenings in the summer at the South Pool.  The North Pool is located by the Woodlands golf course.  It also has a separate kiddie pool area, and has a small water-slide.  The North Pool is smaller than the South Pool, but with a pool on each end of Sunriver Resort, who can complain? 
  • Fort Rock Park: located in the central part of Sunriver Resort area: baseball fields, basketball court, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, playground, and covered pavilllion with tables and a bbq. 
  • Sunriver Marina: rent a canoe, kayak or raft to go down the Deschutes River!
  • Play Tennis at one of the 28 tennis courts conveniently located throughout Sunriver Resort
  • Sunriver Stables has horseback riding trips for most ages and abilities. Please call the Sunriver Stables at: 541-593-6995.
  • Hike, Bike, run or walk on the 37 miles of paved bike paths.
  • 3 Golf Courses within the resort: Crosswater, Meadows, and Woodlands, welcome to golfer heaven! 
  • Village Mall: your shopping and dinning destination!
  • Cross-country and Alpine skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Only 18 miles from your Sunriver Resort rentals!

There are some great places to visit, for all ages,that are not far from our Sunriver, Oregon rentals. A few include: 

1. The High Desert Museum is only about 5 minutes north of rentals in Sunriver, Oregon on HWY 97.  This is a wildlife and living history museum with some amazing exhibits.  Plan to spend several hours here at least. 
2. The Lava Lands Visitors Center is also only about 5 minutes north of the resort on HWY 97.  The visitors center is the interpretive hub for the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.  Drive to the top of the Lava Butte, whic hsits 500 feet above the visitors center.  The views from here are spectacular!  Also visit the Lava Cast Forest as well as the Lava River Cave.  The cave is a great activity for a particularly hot day as the cave stays at or near 40 degrees.
3. Cascade Lakes Highway, also known as Century Drive.  This highway is full of beautiful scenery and it loops through mountains and lakes.  There are numerous hiking trails off this road as well.
4. Visit the town of Sisters, Oregon, which is located 20 miles west of Bend.  This is a fun town to visit, and the main street has many unique shops and restaurants.
